Itinerary

Upon arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to settle in and relax.

Overnight: Tehran

Today, we'll visit the Saad Abad Palace and Museum, a magnificent palace built by the Pahlavi dynasty in the Shemiran area of Tehran. Originally inhabited by the Qajar monarchs and royal family in the 19th century, the complex was later expanded and served as a residence for Reza Shah in the 1920s, and his son, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, in the 1970s. Following the Iranian Revolution, the palace was converted into a museum, while the current presidential palace was built adjacent to the Sa'd Abad compound. After our visit to the palace, we'll head to the Ziarat of Imamzadeh Saleh, one of the most popular Shia shrines in northern Tehran. This mosque entombs the remains of Saleh, a son of the Twelver Shi'ah Imam Musa al-Kadhim. We'll end our day with some shopping at the Tajrish Bazaar.

Overnight: Tehran

Today, we'll visit Hazrat Abdul Azim Shrine, where Shah-Abdol-Azim, a descendant of Imam Hasan who was martyred in the 9th century in Ray, Iran, is buried. We'll also visit other important tombs, including the tomb of Imam Zadeh Hamzeh, the brother of Imam Reza (AS). Along the way to Qom, we'll stop to visit the Imam Khomeini Shrine and Jamkaran mosque. The mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is located in the south of Tehran city. Finally, we'll end our day with a visit to the Ziarat of Hazrat Masoomeh, a highly respected scholar and religious figure who was buried in the holy city of Qom. Hazrat Fatima Masumah (S.A.) was greatly revered by the Holy Imams (A.S.) and is visited each year by millions of people who hold the Holy Ahlal Bayt (A.S.) in high regard.

Overnight: Qom

Today, we'll head to Mehrabad airport in Tehran and board a flight to Mashhad, the second-largest city in Iran and home to the revered holy shrine of Imam Reza. After arriving in Mashhad, we'll check in at our hotel and take some time to rest before embarking on a half-day excursion to Tus, a nearby town with a rich history. We'll visit the Tomb of Ferdowsi, a highly respected Persian poet, as well as the Tomb of Ghazali, an Islamic theologian, philosopher, and Sufi mystic. Our tour will also include a visit to Haruniyeh, a 14th-century brick building that is the only remaining structure from ancient Tus.

Overnight: Mashhad

Today, we'll visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza, one of the most revered and sacred sites in Islam. After our visit, we'll head to Goharshad Mosque, a stunning mosque built by Goharshad, the wife of Shah Rukh, during the Timurid era. The mosque is known for its intricate tile work and beautiful architecture. In the afternoon, we'll have time for shopping and leisure activities.

Overnight: Mashhad

Today, we'll embark on an exciting excursion to Neishabour to visit the tombs of two renowned Iranian poets, Khayyam and Attar, as well as Imam Reza's Qadamgah. Omar Khayyam, known as "The King of Wisdom," was born in Nishapur in the province of Khorasan in Iran in the 11th century and is one of the most well-known poets in the West. Farid ud-Din Attar, a Persian Muslim poet, theoretician of Sufism, and hagiographer, was also born in Nishapur and left an everlasting influence on Persian poetry and Sufism. We'll visit their tombs in Neishabour. In addition to the poet's tombs, we'll visit Imam Reza's Qadamgah, a holy place on the Silk Road where Imam Reza stopped during his journey from Medina to Marv. The name of the place is taken from a black stone with Imam Reza's footprint on it. Pilgrims consider the nearby spring to be holy water.

Overnight: Mashhad

Today we'll enjoy a scenic excursion to Shandiz and Torghabeh, two natural paradises that are considered the beloved attractions of tourists and visitors to Mashhad. Located in the ever-green and water-rich mountains of Binaaloud, these two summer regions offer a rich variety of tourist facilities. In the afternoon, we'll have time for a Ziarat of Imam Reza's Holy Shrine before taking a flight back to Tehran.

Overnight: Tehran

On our final day of the tour, we'll be taken on an excursion to visit Bibi Shahrbanoo, the wife of Imam Hussein. The enameled and glazed dome is the resting place of the mother of Hazrat Sajad (AS) and the daughter of Yazdgerd Sassani III. It is located in the southern skirts of the Ray Mountains, reputedly known as the mountain of Bibi Shahrbanoo. This 33m high and 22m wide dome is surrounded by stone walls and is a remnant from the Daylamite period. Later, we'll enjoy a city tour and some shopping before it's time to bid farewell to Tehran and end our memorable tour. We'll transfer to the airport for departure from Iran.
